What is buckwheat flour?
It’s the seed of a plant related to rhubarb. As a substitute buckwheat flour is a great gluten-free alternative to regular flour in pastas, noodles, pancakes and baked goods.
Traditionally used in French galettes, Russian blinis, Japanese soba noodles, Irish soda breads or more modern grain free Greek pita breads, American biscuits, banana loaf and apple tea cakes, soft cookies, crisp crackers, waffles muffins and more.
