Meet Amy Megna, professional bodybuilder, gym owner, and online health and fitness coach. Amy shares her journey from corporate life to fitness entrepreneurship, her approach to balanced nutrition, and her passion for helping others transform their lives.

Amy, can you tell us about your background and what inspired you to become a Nutrition Capital Ambassador?
I’m an online health and fitness coach, gym owner, and professional bodybuilder. I’ve been a long-term Nutrition Capital customer, so transitioning to an ambassador role was a natural fit. Joining a team that’s not only knowledgeable about nutrition but also deeply passionate about its community is an honour!

What led you to pursue a career in nutrition, fitness, and wellness?
After more than 10 years in a corporate environment, it was my own physical and mental transformation during the Covid lockdowns that inspired me to make a change. I obtained my qualifications and launched a business dedicated to teaching and inspiring women. My goal has always been to show them how to achieve their health and fitness goals while living a balanced lifestyle.

What areas do you specialise in?
I specialise in:

  • Fat loss
  • Lifestyle improvements
  • Competition prep coaching

What’s your nutrition philosophy, and how do you incorporate it into your practice?
I believe in a balanced and flexible approach to nutrition. It’s about finding sustainable ways of eating, training, and living that prioritise overall health while still enjoying life. Restrictive or extreme diets aren’t part of my philosophy. My focus is on nourishing the body guilt-free, promoting both physical health and a positive relationship with food.

What do you find most rewarding about working with clients on their goals?
For me, the most rewarding part is witnessing my clients’ mental and physical transformations. It’s incredible to see their mindsets shift as they improve their lifestyles.

What’s your favourite supplement brand?
Right now, it’s Primabolics. Their protein powders are a daily staple for me—I can’t get enough of their caramel white chocolate flavour in my protein oats and pancakes!

What are your top three must-have supplements?

  1. Creatine: For enhanced performance, strength, and power output in training.
  2. Protein powder: To help me hit my daily protein targets. Primabolics caramel white chocolate is a personal favourite!
  3. Pre-workout: For an extra push on tough training days. I’m a big fan of Disorder’s Sunburnt Country.

What services do you offer to your clients?
I offer a wide range of services, including:

  • 1:1 online coaching with tailored meal plans, nutritional protocols, and training programs.
  • Competition prep coaching.
  • One-off training programs.
  • Recipe books and more!
