Low carb Shepherds Pie
Serves 9


  • 1 x Low Carb Life Mash packet
  • 1tbsp Nutra organics broth
  • 2 packets of Mingle Spag Bol spice blend
  • 250g diced onion
  • 750g frozen corn, pea & carrot mix
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 300g roughly chopped mushrooms
  • 1kg lean beef mince



  • preheat oven to 180 degrees on grill
  • Mix the low carb mash and broth powder as per packet instructions
  • Whisk well to thicken
  • Set aside while you cook the mince mix
  • In a seperate pot, brown the onion then add the mince
  • Add the mingle seasoning and mix well
  • Add in the frozen vegetables and mushrooms
  • Cook until vegetables and mince are completely cooked, season as desired
  • Place mince mix into oven safe dish
  • Top with mash mix
  • Place in over to brown the mash (watch carefully so doesn’t burn)
  • Allow to cool and serve
