What is glucose powder?
Glucose powder is also referred to as dextrose. It is corn syrup solids in a convenient powder form. Water soluble and widely used in the preparation of food, beverages and baking, glucose powder is often used as a direct substitute for granulated sugar.
Glucose powder is often taken during or after exercise.
A suggested use is to add it to your post workout protein shake, adding 20 grams (1 tablespoon) per 10g of protein in your shake.
Alternatively, it can be used as a sweetener in baking or cooking.
