What is Tapioca Flour?
Tapioca flour is a starch extracted from the storage roots of the cassava plant. It’s flavourless, gluten-free and mixes quickly, unlike all-purpose flour which contains gluten and needs to cook a little longer to get rid of its powdery texture.
Use as a thickener for soups and gravies or to lighten baked goods such as biscuits and cakes.
